Disco Divas

On Friday Nite Donna summer did her thing. Hannah , Annabelle and I danced, did somersaults and generally raced around like maniacs. We tailgated with the moms. They kept telling us not to mingle(stranger danger and all that) and for some reason looked irritated when chocolate cake was smeared all over disco outfits.

Saturday we meant to go see the Little Mermaid, but after watching it four thousand times on video, we decided to sleep in. We picked up Hannah and hung in the pool at the Youth Center. For four hours straight we recreated our own aquatic musical version of aforementioned mermaid while swimming.

Sunday we hit the Farmers Market in Callicoon-Yummmy cherries -from Hellers and beautiful swiss chard from Lucky Dog Farm. When it looked like rain we ran over to the Callicoon Wine Merchant (cause we love that cheese guy) and shared a meat plate! Then off to Jeff for great art. We saw our favorite potters Jill Weiner of Earth Girl Pottery and Carolyn Duke who even though shes over four feet tall can hang with us anytime(she gave us the coolest mini pot). Then listened (ok only for about five seconds) to the concert for winds before we got bored and opted for ice cream.
